As you may or may not know, in early December of 1996, certain members of WXUT were removed from their positions because of "unacceptable broadcasting practices". One of them has since been reinstated (and even been elected to management), and is working to return WXUT to a higher level of broadcast excellence.
WXUT's programming is still overwhelmingly "alternative format" with a heavy rotation playlist, but there are still specialty shows that break format in a positive and enlightening way. Here are those shows:
