About EIIGY POCR OFF

EIIGY POCR OFF was started in late August 1996 and is the brainchild of editor Jay Arrgh and creative consultant Thaddeus Maximus. EPO was established as a means to enlighten the public to the evils of modern society (i.e.: capitalism, greed, the "me first" philosophy, etc.) with the intent of doing away with traditional power structures. It is our hope that through humor and biting sarcasm as well as through general research that we can expose the people who try to corrupt us as truly evil persons.

The format of the zine was conceived by Jay Arrgh. EPO is 5.5" by 8.5" and generally runs between 8 and 16 pages in length. The zine is mostly text except for the front cover art, back cover art (both created by Thaddeus Maximus), and the occasional center spread. EPO consists of columns by Jay Arrgh, Thaddeus Maximus, and Sick.N.Ing., EPO's European correspondent, as well as articles by other freelance writers. There are also bits of humor and research articles. EPO is published monthly with a current circulation of about 100.

If you live in or around Toledo, OH, you can pick up a free copy of EIIGY POCR OFF at Boogie Records in the Westgate Shopping Center. If you are fortunate enough to live outside of Toledo, you can contact Jay Arrgh through e-mail for information about receiving a copy or getting a subscription.

The demand for printed copies of EPO is on the rise per month. If you have caught on to the revolution a bit late, you may want to procure some of the earlier copies of EIIGY POCR OFF. To do so, send 50 cents or two 32 cent stamps to the address at the bottom of this page. Issues #3-#9 are available.

It should also be noted that EIIGY POCR OFF is a non-profit publication. However, we find very inventive ways to keep from going bankrupt. But we refuse to accept advertisements or classifieds as a way of supporting the costs of production. EPO is a free zine (with the exception of mail order customers who must pay postage) and I'd like to keep it that way.

EIIGY POCR OFF is always looking for contributors, so please e-mail Jay Arrgh for information on what we accept and deadlines.
